Hamtramck’s Hindu community was on full display on a recent Saturday.
Once again, the community celebrated the birth of Krishna with a parade through part of Hamtramck and finished with a circle dance in the city parking lot on Caniff.
For adults and kids, there was also the sharing of fresh fruit.
Men, women and children dressed in their finest. The women, in particular, were dazzling in their colorful sari dresses.
